Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Meet in airport and transfer to hotel. Free time
Day 2: Hanoi – Nghia Lo. ~200 km, ~7 h.
Today is the first day of this Challenging Roof Roads & Northeast motorbike tour. Before starting to ride, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. We start around 9.30am after the rush hours.
In fact, today is a easy ride on sealed road. You ride through rural areas with beautiful rice fields along the way.
Day 3: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai – Than Uyen. ~150 km, ~6-7 h.
In general, the road is wild and bumpy. We go through the massif of Mu Cang Chai, almost as high as the Fansipan. From the top, we have one of the most beautiful views of Northern Vietnam.
Day 4: Than Uyen – Sapa. ~100 km, ~4 h.
Walk / stroll in the morning. Ride direction Sapa. Arrive in Sapa in the afternoon. In general, today’s ride is on wild and bumpy roads.
Day 5: Sapa – Muong Hum- Bac Ha. ~ 150 km, ~3 h.
We ride up the Chinese border until the village of Muong Hum. Track and secondary road for 30 kilometres. In return, you experience amazing scenery. Continue to Bac Ha , overnight in Bac Ha
Day 6: Bac Ha – Vu Linh. ~180 km, ~6 h.
We ride down to Thac Ba lake. The itinerary goes all along the river until Luc Yen. Beautiful landscape. Home stay in Vu Linh
Day 7: Vu Linh – Hai Phong. ~250 km, ~8 h.
You ride from Vu Linh to Hanoi on bank of river, continue to Hai Phong city. Overnight in Hotel in Hai Phong.
Day 8: Hai Phong- Cat Ba island. ~30 km
Ride cross ferry to Cat Ba island, boat trip to Halong bay, overnight on boat.
Day 9: Cat Ba island. ~40 km
Morning boat cruise , pm visit Catba national park with bike and walk. Overnight in Cat Ba island
Day 10: Cat Ba island- Hanoi. ~160 km
Check out hotel then ride back to Hanoi by back road. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 11: Hanoi departure
